Welcome to The Black Rose Catering, your premier catering service in Hazlet, New Jersey. Founded by Larissa, a dedicated nurse returning to her culinary roots, her business embodies a passion for food that has been cultivated over more than 20 years in the industry.
Larissa's journey began in her family's beloved Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Bergen County, NJ, where she learned the art of cooking and the importance of community. Her culinary expertise was further honed at the prestigious Florida Culinary Institute and the Hudson County Culinary Program. Today, she brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to Monmouth County, specializing in exquisite graze tables, elegant charcuterie boards, and upscale
event catering.

All recommended serving sizes are appetizer portion suggestions. If serving as the main meal, consider going a size up.
Includes a variety of cheeses, meats, seasonal fruits, olives and/or other pickled items, dried fruit, jam/honey, nuts, and garnished herbs and edible flowers.
Served on a 12.8” x 10.6” disposable board. Serves approximately 2-3 guests

Please note that all cheeses, meats, produce, etc., are based on what is seasonally available, and are often interchanged.
Minimum of 10 cups per order
Each cup contains: assorted cheeses and meats, fruits, nuts + dried fruits, crackers, jam, honey, olives or gherkins. Meatless cups available. Substitute for an additional cheese.

Give the gift of charcuterie! Our Grazing Boxes are the perfect gifts for that someone who deserves something special. Our boxes come with assorted cheeses & meats, seasonal fruits, crackers, nuts, dried fruits, and honey.
Flat Lay Graze - Grazing tables require a 50% deposit at the time of order
Our gorgeous flat lay arrangements are built on site directly on a flat surface on food safe butcher paper. Our stunning creations include a variety of gourmet cheeses, charcuterie meats, fresh sliced bread & crackers, fresh seasonal fruit, local jam, honey, assorted nuts, olives and other accompaniments garnished with herbs and floral enhancements to reflect the season or theme of event. Table, clean up, plates and napkins not provided, set up is approximately 1 hour. 20 grazers minimum. $22 pe

Cancel within 4 days of delivery date for full refund + 20% cancellation fee. We do offer the option to reschedule your order or credit towards a future order at no additional fee.
There is a 50% Non-Refundable Deposit on all Grazing Table bookings. The Black Rose Catering must be notified no later than 10 days prior to the event date to receive refund of the remaining balance + 20% cancellation fee.
We will do our best to accommodate last-minute catering requests, but availability is not guaranteed. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss your needs.
We do require 48 hours notice on all orders. For Grazing Tables and Charcuterie Cups do require at least 3 weeks notice. The earlier, the better!
Yes we do! Please note, delivery fees apply and will be discussed at the time your order is placed.
Please make us aware if there are any allergies or foods to avoid! We kindly ask you leave the rest up to us and our creative liberties (and what is in season of course.) We will try to honor specific alteration requests best we can. Also, feel free to tell us your theme or occasion and we will do our best to incorporate it!
